Frequently Asked Questions
Mainstream medical research has documented that a deficiency in magnesium, vitamin B2 and CoEnzyme Q10 can play a role in migraine pathogenesis. Correcting this dietary deficiency is a challenge for migraineurs since food alone cannot supply the required levels of these micronutrients. Dolovent™ does this is by delivering the optimal dosages of these key micronutrients needed.
This is why the special Dolovent™ formulation was created.
The Dolovent™ formulation has been recommended by European and American physicians/neurologists for years and used by thousands of people. No serious side effects have been reported in all this time. The changes you might notice are that riboflavin (Vitamin B2) may cause urine to turn bright yellow and some people experience mild bloating and loose stools due to the magnesium. Dolovent™ is manufactured to the highest standards of quality and purity. It should not, however, be used with other products that contain magnesium or riboflavin.
Dolovent™ has not been shown to cause any adverse drug interactions. Dolovent™ can be taken safely along with prescription migraine medications (such as triptans and beta blockers). However, to optimise absorption of Dolovent™, the capsules should be taken two hours either before or after drugs with the following active ingredients: tetracyclines, ferrous (iron) substances, sodium fluoride, isoniazid, cholorpromaxine and digoxin.
Magnesium oxide; riboflavin (vitamin B2); glazing agent: hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose (capsule shell); vitamin C as L-ascorbic acid; coenzyme Q10; vitamin E as D-alpha tocopheryl acetate; zinc gluconate; potato starch; selenium yeast; anti-caking agent: magnesium salts of fatty acids; niacin as nicotinamide; calcium-D-pantothenate; thiamine (vitamin B1) as Pyridoxine chloride; ferrous gluconate; colour: titanium dioxide, riboflavins; manganese sulfate; citrus-bioflavonoids; vitamin B6 as thiamin hydrochloride; copper sulfate; vitamin A as retinyl acetate; folic acid as pteroylmono-glutamic acid; biotin; chromium(III)-chloride; sodium molybdate; vitamin B12 as cyanocobalamin; vitamin D as cholecalciferol.
Though normal levels of magnesium, vitamin B2 and CoQ10 may be restored in as little as a week, Dolovent™ is most effective taken regularly over at least three to four months.
Dolovent™ is a food for special medical purposes; this means you do not need a prescription. However, it is always a good idea to check with your doctor when you begin taking any supplement. It's interesting to note that in Europe, where natural supplements are considered part of mainstream medicine, doctors often recommend the Dolovent™ formulation. In the UK, a growing number of practitioners/neurologists are seeing results with both acute/prescription medications and afterwards a regiment of supplementation, which Dolovent™ provides.
Dolovent™ capsules are taken by mouth: Twice daily, 1-2 capsules in the morning and evening with or after a meal.
You should always check with your Doctor. However, Dolovent™ does not affect blood clotting or any other factor that could have an impact on surgery.
DoloventTM at a glance
The micronutrients magnesium and riboflavin (vitamin B2) are key substances which have shown a correlation with the condition of migraine. Evidence shows that migraine patients frequently have reduced levels of magnesium, riboflavin and coenzyme Q10.
Dietary management with high-dose riboflavin, magnesium and coenzyme Q10 compensates for this deficiency. Migraine patients cannot compensate for their specific deficiency in magnesium, riboflavin and coenzyme Q10 through a balanced diet alone. Dolovent™ capsules contain a specially formulated combination of magnesium, riboflavin and coenzyme Q10 as well as other vitamins and minerals, which is adapted to help meet the specific requirements of migraine patients. Dolovent™ is well-researched, is very well tolerated, and can be used safely over a long period under the advice of a healthcare provider.
